Terms of Service

By using NaijaElectronics, you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully. These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

1. Use of the Platform

NaijaElectronics is a marketplace connecting buyers and sellers. We do not own, inspect, or guarantee any listed items. All transactions are between individual users.

2. Seller Rules

  • You must own or have the right to sell every item you list.
  • All listings must be accurate. Misleading descriptions are prohibited.
  • Prohibited items include: stolen goods, counterfeit products, weapons, drugs, and any items illegal under Nigerian law.
  • One listing per item — do not post duplicate listings.
  • You are responsible for honouring the price stated in your listing.

3. Buyer Rules

  • Inspect all items before payment. We cannot reverse transactions after payment.
  • Do not send money to sellers before seeing and testing an item.
  • Report fraudulent listings immediately using the "Report Listing" button.

4. Prohibited Activities

  • Fraud, scams, or misrepresentation of any kind.
  • Harassment of other users.
  • Creating fake accounts or reviews.
  • Scraping or automated data collection from the platform.
  • Spam listings or commercial bulk postings without our written permission.

5. Fees

Basic listings are free. Featured listings and promotional placements are paid services with fees clearly shown at time of purchase. We reserve the right to change fees with 30 days notice.

6. Liability Limitation

NaijaElectronics is not liable for transactions between users, loss or damage to items, fraud by third parties, or any indirect losses arising from use of the platform. Maximum liability in any event is limited to fees paid to us in the preceding 3 months.

7. Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any account that violates these terms, without refund of any fees paid, at our sole discretion.

8. Disputes

Disputes between users are the responsibility of the parties involved. We may assist in mediation at our discretion but are not obligated to do so. Disputes with NaijaElectronics shall be resolved under Nigerian law in Lagos State courts.
